Bye Bye HealBot!
Hello Click2Cast!
Here is my Grid and HealBot layout.

Grid shows me the whole raid, a square for each member. On a 25-person, it's five-by-five. Healbot is the column, it is what I click to cast heals on, rezzes, etc.
The Ressurection Monitor and Main Tanks are presented by ORA2, which is outside the scope of this post.
Grid is basically just a indicator of what is going on in the raid in a small package. As you see above, Tenc has aggro (red block), and he has a heal incoming from someone in the raid (green block). The solid color extends down from a player's square as they lose health. Above it looks like Myrc is the most damaged of anyone, and Group 2 all has a little bit of damage on them. Aess has a little tiny icon that indicates a debuff of some sort.
I've not proved it yet - but I'm pretty sure those squares in Grid are standard UnitFrames.
Which means Click2Cast will work perfectly on them, for full fledged click casting!
Here is what my Click2Cast looks like, I've tested this on my standard Unit Frames like Target, Target-of-Target, self, etc. and it works great.

I can't wait to test this out in Gruul's tomorrow! ;)
If it works as I believe it will, I can get rid of HealBot entirely.

Re: Bye Bye HealBot!
Just an added note: I wouldn't expect this to replace HealBot for a full-time healer -- HealBot does have some very slick functionality if you are that.
But for me, HealBot was taking up too much space - and I'm definitely not a full-time healer. ;)
