    Correct. The only time it's needed is when we using points for raids. Then everyone needs it.

    Other than that, it can be disabled if you don't want it hanging around.

    I am a little alarmed at the number of people I see using v1.2, though.

    This version should not be used at all anymore due to the problems Blizzard introduced with the TBC. Merc posted a the Curse Gaming link at the start of the thread. You can also get it from a stickied post on the forums here or from the Raid Points area of the site from the Resource menu above.

    The old link is not hidden.

    Check the Resources Menu > Raid Points.

    Those pages are maintained directly by Warcaster, and he keeps a download for us there too.
    I did it for the lulz.
