I experienced an outage today - when I left for work things were fine, when I got to work I could not get into my systems, establish a VPN connection, access the website, etc.
I ran home for lunch to check it out, & we're back online.
It was a UPS problem - a freak failure of one of my APC Smart UPS 1400s.
Batteries are replaced and all is well now.
I did it for the lulz.
