    Potpie's v2.0 Addons

I use the EpoxyTBC package, which can be found here:

    http://ui.worldofwar.net/ui.php?id=3353

The zip as of the time of this posting is attached as well for the sake of a mirror. On compilations like this, I install and then disable ALL for ALL characters, then I enable selectively by character instead of for ALL.

Here is the list I use with Potpeye on BC BEta, and will copy right over into Potpie on Blackhand. Green I use, Red I disable, Blue are Dependencies.

!!!Libs -- all your Ace2 libraries in one convenient line in your Addons GUI. "AIO Library Package"
    !BugGrabber
    !ClearFont
!OmniCC - awesome cooldown counts on everything!
    !StopTheSpam
ag_UnitFrames - I like the default player portraits and frames, did not care for this
    AlternateBlips
    aUF_Banzai
    AutoProfit
    BanzaiAlert
    Bongos
    Bongos_ActionBar
Bongos_Options- Bongos is an AWESOME action bar mod. I've used TrinityButtons, and Bartender, and I like Bongos the best.
Bookmark - simply awesome, you can put little tiny bookmark icons in your tradeskill windows that jump directly to the item in your list.
    BugSack
Cartographer- full featured maps, user pins and notes, etc.
Chronometer- duration bars on everything. I can drop a Earthbind totem and a Chronometer bar will come up and drain away as the totem duration does.
    Clique- click-casting crutch I guess
    ClosetGnome
    ClosetGnome_Mount
ClosetGnome_Switcher - the name is dumb so I never enabled it to check out wtf it was
    Coins
    CT_MailMod
    CW_Stuff
DeuceCommander- nice centralized menu for options on all Ace2 addons, goes right in the center of my Fubar
ErrorMonster- this supresses the red errors you get in the top center of your screen, like if you tried to cast and got a too far away or out of mana error. I like those large red text messages so I don't use this.
EzDismount- Rocks! automatically dismounts you when you try to do something you cannot do while mounted, or when you open a flight point map at a Flight Master.
FuBar- I've not been a fan of the docking bar type stuff like Titan, etc. When I got the EpoxyTBC compilation for running in beta, I thought I'd check it out, and I like it!
FuBar_BagFu- Shift+B toggle has always been enough for me
FuBar_DurabilityFu - little percentage plugin on Fubar, opens automatically when you talk to a repair NPC. Nice to have. Supresses the Blizzard Armored Man too if you like.
FuBar_FuXPFu- nice experience bar line along the top of your Fubar frame you have it docked to. Blue = xp earned, purple = rested xp potential
    FuBar_GuildFu
FuBar_MailFu- Love it! Nice little Fubar plugin that tracks mail & AH messages and alerts you.
FuBar_MCPFu- Master Control Program, menu for enabling/disabling addons. Sorta like Chaos in Cosmos.
    FuBar_MiniClockFu - nifty little clock
FuBar_MoneyFu- see your cash without opening bag
FuBar_PerformanceFu - memory, framerate, latency, etc. tracker
    FuBar_QuestsFu
    FuBar_TopScoreFu
    FuBar_TrackerFu
    FuBar_VolumeFu
    FuBar_WhisperFu
IceHUD- I think the chevron looking bars / lines in this look crappy when compared to ArcHUD, so I don't use it. I'll wait until my precious ArcHUD is 2.0 ready.
    IDCard
InFlight- sweet little "casting bar" that times flight paths and shows a deteriorating bar indicating flight time remaining.
    Ludwig
    Ludwig_SellValue
    Mendeleev
mEnemyCastbar- dunno what this is: v2.0 has a enemy casting bar native in Interface Options > Advanced
MobHealth - learns and keeps track of monster hitpoints
myBindings2 - nice keystroke bindings manager
oCB- very pretty personal casting bar
    oTweaks
    PlayerMenu
    Prat- powerful chat window management
Prat_FuBar2- handy Fubar plugin menu for manipulating Prat settings
RatingBuster- relates back to old-fashioned WoW1 information into WoW2 tooltips! Like if something states "increases spell critical rating by 14" and you're level 60, RatingBuster puts a (1%) after the 14 in the tool tip.
    sct
    sctd
    sctd_options
sct_options- I like Mik's Scrolling Battle Text far better, and I've obtained a WoW2 conversion of it. The original dev is working on a WoW2 that will be MSBT v4. My current conversion is v3.11 and I will be attaching it here in this thread
SeriousBuffTimers- makes nicer time remaining on buffs that Blizzard's default ones
    ShoutCast!
    SimpleCombatLog
    Skinner
Squeenix - square minimap? No thank you.
    TinyTip
    TinyTipExtras
TinyTipOptions- Excellent ToolTips addon! Must Have!
    vBagnon
vBagnon_Options- not sure what this is, I've never used any bag mods or felt I needed to.
    WitchHunt
XLoot - great loot frame re-work - jumps loot window to your mouse cursor, jumps up the line as you take items from the window, and has a Link All button to boot!
    XLootGroup
    XLootMonitor
I did it for the lulz.

    Re: Potpie's v2.0 Addons

Myrkris, I don't know abou tyou, but if I used all these, I would feel like I was back on a 286 my machine would chug so much....

Jist kidding of course. I use the Insomniax pack + RTM, RM, and Characterprofiler. Never used Dab, too fussy and complex for my taste. I end up loading about 1/4 of the Insomniax collection. I do notice that for some reason, ItemSync and Auctioneer grab a lot of processor time and make my frame rate drop about 20%. Otherwise, mostly transparent except for space on the screen....

A couple additional that are not in the EpoxyTBC compilation that I use.

    • Fubar DPS - a personal DPS Meter that plugs into my Fubar.
    • Mik's Scrolling Battle Text - kicks SCT's ass IMO. :AR15firin
    • Outfitter - best gear set changer manager switcher-outer thingie I've used

    Re: Potpie's v2.0 Addons

The epoxy pack is actually what I started with in TBC beta. There were just a few that I didn't like so made my own pack.

And honestly, it doesn't slow my machine down a bit. In fact if anything I get a performance improvement just a bit.
I watch Fox News, it's like wearing tight shoes, so you feel good when you take them off.

    Re: Potpie's v2.0 Addons

I tried Outfitter once, but liked Wardrobe better so I dropped Outfitter. Might need to try again, though...
    Myrkris - Troll Shaman

    Mnevis - Tauren Warrior
    Zulkath - Undead Priest

Heh, my non-use of add-ons stems from playing on an Athlon 950 for most of a year, before I got a mobo that would allow me to use the XP 1700+ I also had. Now I've got a Core Duo laptop, so I'm sure I could run more addons if I wanted.

    Re: Potpie's v2.0 Addons

Stuff I need to get from Redgar's list:
    • EquipCompare - I've been missing this in WoW2
    • SpellTips - sounds like what I like about TheoryCraft!
    • TrinketMenu - never used it, but I'm getting fancier with macros and spell damage boosters, so will have to check it out

    Re: Potpie's v2.0 Addons

Stuff I will need to have, but have not tested yet:

    • KLHThreatMeter - for monitoring aggro in raiding
    • CT_RaidAssist - looks promising that we'll have a WoW2 version relatively quickly
    • RaidManager v1.004 - War says it should be OK! ;)
I did it for the lulz.
