Can anyone make me the Volcanic set? I can help with mats.

I can craft the Chest and Leggings, haven't yet found the pattern for the shoulders.

I'm currently on vacation so I won't be on very much for awhile. Just send me an in game mail with what you need made and what mats you have/don't have so I can get it crafted for you. If I happen to be on just whisper me and we can get your stuff made.

The Volcanic Set is not a very good option for a rogue. You will lose too many stats to get the FR you want. There are other options and we can help :)

You may be losing a lot of stats, but think about it this way - 3 pieces of armor (without a libram of resilliance on the pants) gives you 58 FR. That allows you to be more giving on the other armor you wear.

There's a reason Volcanic is Green. ;)

There are many choices for those 3 slots that are better - with less yellow in them.

Rule of thumb: FR is important, but it is probably a bad choice if it has too much yellow in it. :yup:

I've never thought of it this way! With that said is purple better than orange? ;) (I'm teasing you!!)

I think everyone in this thread is correct... we want to get the most bang for our buck. If Volcanic is what we can get, then woot! But, because we have some additional resources I believe others were pointing out that we could help getting a bit better, which may also be a better fit for the class. HLS, like the other guilds in the alliance, has been pooling our MC crafting mats. That means we can help HMetal out with some items he may not have been thinking were within his "price range".

I also want to say I'm glad everyone is thinking about this gear. The more FR we have, the better off we are in Ony and also in MC. And, a big bonus is that it will prepare us for BWL. So, good conversations... and thanks for putting on your thinking caps!

Awesome Gung. I'll take the set cause its a good starter set for FR. Let me know if you need any $ for the mats. I'll also start saving gold and mats for Corehound Boots, Lava Belt & Molten Helm. Just those 6 items will get me 137 FR unbuffed, I can then pick up a ring or cloak and be well above 150 FR!
