    Shadoweaving on raids

On Tuesdays raid, I played my shadow priest and whenever possible I spammed 5 rank 1 SWPs onto a mob to get a 15% shadow damage bonus. Jabber and Cynic seemed to be happy with the results but I was curious what everyone else thought. The reason I used rank 1
    • Cheap mana cost
    • I don't have any threat reduction talents and I didn't want to screw up the raid by snapping aggro off the tank.
Might be something we want to consider doing more in the future if it really helped the warlock dps.

we've talked about this as well. in upcoming fights (rags/ony) where we need to squeeze all the dps we can 15% damage to all shadow spells is going to help considerably.

As long as the priest can maintian a healing job throughout all of MC... Doing that on Rag would be VERY nice ;p

We've done that in the past, but virtually never on boss fights until they are on farm status since we really need everyone healing up to that point. I'm sure a shadow priest here and there has done some shadow-weaving on the boss fights, though.
