    HAWC rolls up to Ragnaros

Been awhile since I posted an update on HAWC progress.

We recently downed Majordomo Executus for the first time. It was an especially fun event since HAWC was able to down Domo on the second pull. All the more impressive was that only about 4-5 people there had ever seen the Domo encounter. Ragnaros was summoned for the first time on April 30th by HAWC. It will definitely take some more learning before we can drop Ragnaros himself. Its safe to say that the rest of the MC bosses are on farm status though. We're spending about 2.5 hours on the first 6, and 2 hours to down the final 3 - spanning 2 nights each week.

Progress towards Onyxia has been picking up steam. UBRS runs have been quite common lately. Congrats to all the recently Keyed. Make sure you are sharing with your guild officers what night you are available for Onyxia trials.

The HAWC PVP division has slowed down a bit. We spawned a bunch of legonnaires and champions and even a couple generals, but the pve pull has been a bit greater as of late as people hit their rank walls and got their factions up.

Looks like there are some gatherings being planned IRL for HAWC folks in the Dallas area, as well as a HAWC gathering in Oklahoma city.

the Ragnaros Flying Lessons (tm) were great!

I had an absolute blast when he first appeared and on each try to kill him.

I just want to say a big thank you to Aredhel for her knowledge and guidance on the Domo fight. It's pretty amazing that on our first meeting with Domo, we downed him on the second attempt once the HOLY CRAP! factor wore off. Her organization of the encounter was pivotal to HAWC's success.

Yes, there is a HAWC IRL gathering in Dallas in roughly a week. It's too bad that we couldn't ALL get together all at once. Potpie and I still need to go have that beer together, although I will likely have to make mine a martini ;) I think we actually have two gatherings coming up this month in Dallas since we have some other folks coming through for a couple of days near the end of May. Good spirits will be flowing in addition to the good company!

There's no sense in letting a bunch of idiots get you down... the universe tends to unfold as it should.

I agree with Greenie in that Aredhel was a great help on the Domos fight, and her lovely voice is a pleasure to the ears!

    Thanks Aredhel!

Omg, you guys bring tears to my eyes.

I'm really glad to help, it's so fun to hear your reactions when we down a newer boss.

I've said it before, raiding with you all is about 999 times funner than with my old guild, and you all try your hardest to keep it that way.

    Extra olives for Greenie!

Sky - I was told this many times in high school when I worked fast food... I think it's why they kept me in the drive through for three years! I'm glad you enjoy my talking, because I sure do enjoy it as well!

Yeah Ared, you and Az have brought some nice hax to our MC runs. You're definitely nicer to listen to, though! ;)
