Oils

Just a heads up to all the healing types out there. I can make mana oil (the good stuff) right now. It takes 2 Large Brilliant Shards, 3 Purple Lotus, and 1 Imbued Vial. If you guys would like some mana oil (either for MC or your own usage) please try to send me as much lotus/shards as you can. Its true the vials aren't cheap, but they are MUCH more affordable then the shards/lotus.

The same goes for you dps casters. I can make the good wizard oils, but can't use up all my chanting mats on them. The good wizard oil takes 2 Large Brilliant Shards, 3 Firebloom, and 1 Imbued Vial.

NOTE: Neither of the oils stack with the Shaman totem weapon buffs (Grace of Air and the like). If you have a shaman in your group and want to continue using the Oils, please tell them not to drop the weapons buffs.

Just a note: Grace of Air won't be a problem, since it isn't a weapon buff. The only problem are the weapon buff totems - Windfury, Flametongue, Rockbiter, and Frostbrand. Unless your group has warriors in it, a shaman shouldn't be dropping any of those. However, since shamans are usually helping on dps except for boss fights and Lava Packs (or at least they should be doing that most of the time) they probably have less use for the Oils.

Ahhhh...ok. Thanks for the buff clarification. Not a shaman so can't remember what buffs constitute weapon buffs. :p

There is no Rockbiter totem, there is no Frostbrand totem.

Only Windfury and Flametongue totems give weapon buffs to other party members.

/sigh, since I've never dropped any other weapon buff totem, I plumb forgot. PP, quick delete your post and I'll go back and edit my first one so I don't look so stupid... :(

If we had Rockbiter totem, I'd make sure to get into the rogue/hunter group everytime and keep dropping it :)
