New Year, New Features

Welcome to the new Hordeland Security web site, forums, and raiding calendar.

There are many new features available with the new vBulletin forum and content management software, but a few that you've gotten used to with the previous version are missing, as well. Notable among those features we no longer have active is the Private Message reply-to-all link, and the news posting to the front page is handled through the CMS instead of the News forum.

Take some time to get familiar with all the new buttons and checkboxes, and be sure to let us know if you miss a feature we had before, or dislike a new feature that's been added. New code and templates are coming in for the 4.0 suite, so it's likely that it won't be too long before we can get things exactly how we like them. The old boards evolved over nearly 5 years, so this may take a little time, but we'll get there.

Hopefully you'll all see the changes as improvements, and your time spent here will be just as enjoyable as it has been. For those of you who create the rosters and help admin and moderate the forums, I hope things will be a little easier, as well.
