Im guessing 5 weeks....


P.S. did anyone ever figure out what needs to be done to do so... I heard that the GM's just opened it on the testserver cause they wanted it to be tested (and the players were still a long way off)

Last I heard it requires stuff from all 3 raid instances (broodlord, onxy, and somebody from MC) and a bunch of turn-in "quartermaster" type quests in silithus.

You've got to love the difficulty delta on the Silithus quest. Step 1 - travel to Tanaris and back. Step 2 - kill the Broodlord in BWL. Hmm. I wonder what step 3 is... soloing Onyxia maybe?

The patch has not been live for even 24 hours yet, and we are already at 10% on a few of the turn-ins.

how can we measure our progress as a server? is there an NPC down in the silithus area that tells us?

I imagine they looked at their database and thought 'Hmm, what can we do to coerce people to get rid of all this stuff they are hoarding...'. At the very least everyone can get maxed with the city faction of their choice if they choose. :)

If anyone is thinking about doing the 30-mark quest for an extra supply crate, be aware that no faction is included with the reward. I did get a mid-level blue item from that particular crate, so it was probably a decent exchange... but I might not have chosen that path had I realized no faction was involved.

The NPCs in the Valley of Spirit in Org can tell you how far you have to go for the turn-ins.

Is there any list of these quests yet? They aren't on alla yet, at least as of this morning.

There's like 12 repeatable questgivers asking for all sorts of stuff in valley of spirits not far dow after you cross the bridge from the FP tower in Org. They tell you how much total has been turned in.
The first time you turn in any of the items (Bandages, stacks of metal bars, leather etc.) you get a reward box, and since all these items have gone way up on the AH, just let me know if anyone wants to trade leather or the herbs, for bandages or stacks of metal.
(intead of the home city faction reward you can also turn in 30 of the tokens to a wold rider for soime special reward, though i dont know what it is yet).

You get a reward box EVERYTIME you turn in a stack of something. At least I did when I turned in about 200 rugged leather.

I've turned in a few stacks of Runecloth Bandages as well - and got 10 commendation merits and a reward box for each stack.

Well after I am done farming Felcloth (still need 21 more) and then obtaining friendly with TB for the new transmute... I will start in helping to open AQ... Lets see how much felcloth I can get this evening :)
