Hi War,
You may notice that I'm not Alje. There was some god-awful lag tonight, and Alje got disco'd a couple of times during the raid, and lost her log information. We had to re-import point balances, so there MAY be a few people who dipped below 0, but I THINK we didn't have that happen. I'll let Alje comment on any thoughts she has on what we can do to avoid this in the future. I've attached my logs below, hopefully you don't hate us too much for this one!:sad2::doh::twak::happy:
Fyi, sartharion was first.
Yeah, I sent you a PM about this- his logs have waay more info than I have, so we posted these. Looks like all the bids are there at least, not sure if the point balances got screwed up when I reimported.
Sol was the only reserve; the rest were pulled in for the raid. Sartharion was the only new boss, 2 attempts there.
Is there something I can do if this happens, to get the information back? Like shifting master looter to the raid leader?

About the only thing that can be done is if we have a backup master looter on the raid that imports the point totals and clears out the raid information just like you do.
The Master Looter's Raid Manager will report all significant actions during the raid and anyone that's tracking raids (the raid leader or raid assistants all track automatically or anyone that has tracking turned on) will pick it up.
As for losing the information there's not much you can do. In Blizzard's attempts to prevent people from doing ReallyBadThings(tm) they disabled the ability of mod's to periodically flush their information to disk. The only time mod information is saved is when the UI is reloaded or you log out. If something happens (like crashing) that prevents that flush to disk from happening then all the data goes *poof* for good.
One thing I do on nights where the lag is really bad or the servers are just being flaky is reloading my UI after each boss. That way only minimal information is lost instead of the entire raid. It's a kludgy solution but it's the only one Blizzard leaves open to us.
Thanks, Alje and Abess, for running loot and posting the results. I'll see what I can salvage from the files.

Might be a good idea (from now on) to - at least between instances, or perhaps Naxx wings - to have the ML run a reload to get the data saved off.
Would that work, War?

That would definitely help in some cases.
Although, due to some unfortunate disaster experience with CT RaidTracker back in the day I built redundancy into Raid Manager. Anyone who is promoted in the raid (raid leader, assistants, and the master looter) automatically tracks the raid data. The master looter's mod sends out "important" information so the other tracking mods are aware of it as well. That's what saved me in this case. Abessmot was tracking raid data and had everything I needed except for the reserve data.
