I did not log boss attempts- first 3 were one-shotted, 5 attempts on Patchwerk (no kill)

Otherwise, no issues as far as I know :-) The changes seemed to be pretty effective.

Allakhazam seems to have changed the format of the data they return for item popups. So the mouse over tool tips are borked. Kinda low on the list of things for me to do (holidays, etc) so it will be a couple of weeks probably before it get fixed. It does not affect the core loot data.

Item thingie is fixed.

I'm assuming that Chestguard of Bitter Charms (http://war.hordelandsecurity.org/LootItem.aspx?ItemID=2064) was a greed award, correct?

If so, what are people's opinion of that new feature. Was bidding faster than previously done?

Oh, and Alje, if you haven't done so already you'll probably need to manually set the new time out to 15 seconds. It's an option under Bid Options in Raid Manager.

Chestguard was a greed award. Loot certainly felt faster to me, considering we cleared a lot. It dawned on her to change the timeout manually after the first bid.

There was some slight concern about when 2 people who have 0 points go to maxbid, only the first one to get the bid in is "eligible". It'll probably be a moot point in a few weeks once most people have a point balance. Otherwise, great work on the new changes War!

I thought it was a pretty fluid transition and bidding did go faster. Good work :)

This would be the same case between any two people with the same point total, or a point total separated by less than the min bid, though, correct?

It just so happens that in this instance, it was two people with 0.

Since it should be rare, I'm not certain it needs to be fixed, but Polgeria is right that it's not too fair to the person who wasn't quite as fast on the button.

The only real solution I could think of would be to /rand off between people with push bids, but how would that work for people whose point totals actually differed by less than the min bid? What's fair there? First bidder or total points?

Correct

This is true with almost any auction, real or virtual. The first person to make a particular bid is the one that gets it for that amount. It does mean the person that's faster whether that's because he/she is paying more attention or more decisive gets the bid for that amount.

There is really no way to "fix" it without some sort of contrivance and honestly, I'm not even sure I'd say it's broken.
