This addon makes assigning offtanks (warlocks and warriors) to Garr's adds much easier and faster.
After spending WAY too much time watching my guild try to figure out the best way to do it, I figured I would write an addon that does it for us. Here it is.
There is only one command:
/garr
This will bring up the targetting interface and guide you through the steps to assign targets. My goal when making this addon was to make it as easy and fast as possible. I didn't want to have a bunch of slash commands or options - simple a "Start the process" command, and a one-click interface to do everything.
This is a step-by-step description of how the targetting process works.
1) You type /garr, interface pops up.
2) Select your first "offtank" and click on the interface.
3) Repeat step 2 until all offtanks have been assigned (most likely 8, since that's how many adds Garr has.)
4) Click on the interface to tell it that you're done assigning offtanks.
5) Select the target that you want your first offtank to be assigned to and click on the interface.
6) Repeat step 5 for each offtank. Note that this addon WILL NOT LET YOU ASSIGN DUPLICATE TARGETS. That's the whole point. If you select an add that has already been assigned, it will say something like "Invalid Target: That is Bob's Target"
7) You're done!
