WoW Addon Compilation (http://clannadadraconis.org/%7Emurry/Clannada/WoW%20Addons.zip) - 34mb zip.

A few words here. Yes this is a lot of mods, but it isn't nearly as bad as you may think. With everything here running I barely top 50 meg of memory.

As you may notice a lot of these mods are Ace2 mods. I cannot stress enough going and getting WoWAceUpdater (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=178751) (the xxx-bin.zip one). It makes updating a majority of these mods so easy it is laughable, and they are updated very very often.

The easiest way to install these is to delete everything in your Addons folder (though copy a backup to your desktop as a just in case) and extract the contents of this zip to said Addons folder.

A quick note for mods that integrate with FuBar, and this means just about every Ace2 mod. By default it can make them either visible in the FuBar or as a mini-map icon. If you are using MBB you can get a pretty large amount of icons in there with this pack, or if you aren’t using MBB your mini-map can be quite cluttered. If you can’t find something check your mini-map/MBB and just uncheck the mini-map and it will go to FuBar.

Some mods I have highlighted are in here, as well as some that make my WoW a lot easier and more enjoyable.

Advanced Tradeskill Window – Simply put this alters the crafting window by putting what you can make on the left and making it on the right. It allows multiple queue’s, auto queuing of mats (Have to make A, but it requires B and C, just select A and it auto-queue’s B and C). It also will buy reagents from vendors and allows you to custom sort. You can also drag the window to place it where you want. A note, it does pause the game when you open it the first time while it generates the list, but after a few times goes just fine.

Atlas – Ace2 - I think most of you know this one. A very good instance map mod. Puts an icon on the mini-map (is captured by MBB) for the options and to open.

Atlas Loot – Ace2 - This mod is both a separate and connected mod to Atlas. It will show you loot for every boss in the game as well as sets, pvp, basically if it drops or is crafted (epic level) it’s here. A Warning here. Not everything is safe to link just yet. Atlas has switched to the Ace layout. This mod now uses modules that are loaded on demand for loot. All modules are included

Auctioneer – Latest build. I think most everyone is familiar with this mod and if you play the AH is a real benefit.

Banzai Alert – Ace2 – I highly recommend this mod. Simply put this mod gives you an audio (it says “Agro”) and visual (the perimeter of the screen flashes red) alert when you gain agro. The flashing can get annoying, and possibly life threatening, and is able to be turned off. /banzai for a list of the options in your chat window. (/banzai flash, though worded weird, turns off the flash)
BigWigs – Ace2 – This is the mod collection I use for raids. It has warnings, windows, and castbars for every phase and ability for every raid boss in the game. Integrates with FuBar automatically or can be a mini-map icon. With a raid assist it will send warnings out through raid chat, /rw, and even whispers for targeted boss abilities, and even if you don’t have a raid level assist you will still get the warnings.. The reason I prefer this to DBM is it is updated through WoW Ace Updater.

Bongos2 – This is a deceptively simple bar mod. Allows for scaling, padding (space between the buttons), layout, location placement, and transparency. Puts a button on your mini-map for easy access to configuration, which MBB picks up. Most of the options are self explanatory. A bonus is it allows you to set your keybindings with a check and mouse over, and per character (Do not do this while in combat). This set includes, ActionBar (required), Options (required for a GUI to see the options), and Rollbar (lets you place where loot to be rolled on shows up in a window). If you have any questions about stance/stealth/form bar swapping ask me. Basically you tell it what bar to enable swaping on, then tell it how many pages to skip. Tell it to skip 6 bars then bar 7 is where all the swapped actions will be.

Cartographer – Ace2 - Addons to manipulate the map. It sounds simple, but the transparency settings, scaling, transparency, and waypoints are quite nice. It also allows the placement of markers/notes. I included a LOT of the additions here. If you don’t want to use one of them you can simply delete it from the addons folder or just disable it. There are so many options here that it can be mind boggling. If you gather it can/will mark the locations, get quests it will mark them. It can get overloaded on marks at times, but can be a real time saver. Some of the key ones (I think) are Coordinates, Fishing, and GuildPositions.

ClearFont2 – Ace2 – Want different fonts, larger, or just want to play with them. This mod is pretty well known, but now in Ace flavor. Ties into FuBar or you can use /clearfont. Included is also a font pack.

ClosetGnome – Ace 2 – Uber item switching mod. Easily setup different sets. You can even get a module for different tasks (fishing, mount, gathering) through WoW Ace Updater. The only glitch is if you have an item and get it enchanted or the like you have to open up the set, have the changed (enchanted) item equipped, and set it. Gives you a mini-map button or ties into FuBar.

CT-Mods – This is a light version. I included Core, MailMod, RaidAssist, & Viewport. As a note, it seems that the RABossMods still hasn’t been updated for TBC raids and as such I have not included it.

DrDamage – Ace2 Mod – The new TheoryCraft. Melee is starting to get implemented, but to my knowledge all casters are in. Can tie into the tooltip (on by default) as well as the buttons (works with all bar mods as far as I know), and ties into FuBar. A really good mod for number crunchers.

eCastingbar – Quite a nice replacement for the default (crap) casting bar. This will show you delays and the Enemy casting bar. I found this better than the default setting for enemy casting, as you can move it to a position that is easy to see. /ecastingbar or /ecb will bring up the Options window. So you know, the Mirror bar is used for secondary spells and effects, like Feign death on Hunters or when you are holding your breath (your characters, not you). I recommend checking “Hide Outline” once you get the bars placed where you want them as this will make them invisible till they are called for.

ElkBuffBars – Ace2 – This is my new CT Buff Bar. A very customizable buff/debuff layout. You can change size, text, location, and it nicely separates out buffs, debuffs, weapon buffs all in a nice and clean layout. Once you get one group (it divides buffs, debuffs, and weapon buffs in separate groups) set up the way you want it you can copy the layout to the other groups. Also ties into FuBar for settings access.

EnchantList – Ace2 – Want people to know what you can enchant, but don’t want to tell them. With this mod all a person simply has to do is whisper you with !enchant and they will get a response showing what you can do. For example !enchant gloves will show all enchants you can do to a pair of gloves. !enchant agility will show all agility enchants you can do. /enchantlist will bring up a text list of commands.

Enhanced Tooltip – This is the backbone for any mod that hooks into the tooltip or allows customization of it. A requirement really.

EquipCompare – Ace2 – Another mod that a lot of people can’t live without. When any item that can be equipped shows up in loot, linked, AH, this will show you the tooltip window for it, and a tooltip window of what you have equipped in the same slot. /eqc help for a listing of the options in the chat window. Has been greatly expanded to show the stat comparison in the bottom of the tooltip, and adjusts for enchants and gems.

Examiner – The new SuperInspect. Works like a charm, same options SI had, and a few more.

FuBar – Ace2 – Well after some testing and talking to the maker I am back to using FuBar. For those that have used Titan Bars this does the same thing but uses less memory, has a lot more modules made for it and that can be plugged into it, and is updated way more often. The modules included here are: BagFu (shows bag space), DurabilityFu (also auto-repairs), ExperienceFu (Now with Rested and Pet), GuildFu (quick view guild list), LocationFu (shows you your location in cords and name), LootTypeFu, MoneyFu, PerformanceFu (FPS, memory usage, latency), SpeedFu (how fast you are moving), and VolumeFu. You can drag and drop the different modules to where you want on the bar, or keep separate bars, or even mount some of them on the mini-map. Also each module, and the mods that tie into it, are very customizable for the tooltip and for access to options.

GFW_AdSpace – A very handy mod to find recipes. Once you visit an NPC that has recipes on them it saves the location and adds it to the tooltip for that recipe. So if you are shopping on the AH for a recipe/pattern you don’t have yet it will tell you what NPC sells it.

GFW HuntersHelper – A hunter mod in the sense that in the tooltip for beasts that are tameable it will show you what skills they know. If you use Beast Lore on a beast it doesn’t know it learns it and saves the information.

Hemlock – Ace2 – Rogue Only – What this mod does is when you visit a vendor that has the reagents you need to make poisons you get tabs on the right side of the vendor window that allow you to easily buy and make the poisons. You can set how many to keep stocked up on and even auto-buy Vanish Powders.

IceHUD – Ace2 – This is the mod that puts the “halo” effect in the center of your screen. If you have used ArcHUD this is recognizable. The only real thing it doesn’t do that Arc did is have the option to show party members. Very customizable, and shows the regen rate of energy for rogues. /icehud for the configuration window. Remember, you don’t have to do the curved bars.

InFlight –Ace2 - This mod gives you a, well it kind of looks like a casting bar, showing you the time left till you land. It can be moved to a location other than middle of your screen. If you go on a flight path where it doesn’t know how long it will take it times it and then stores the data. InFlight_Load is required for this to work.

Informant – Partially Covered in Auctioneer, this is an item database mod for selling and buying from vendors and a database for Mobs on quests (and more if I remember right). The default options are pretty good. If you do need to configure this, /informant shows the options in the chat window.

ItemSync – Ace2 - To put it simply this is an item database. If you are familiar with LootLink then you are familiar with this. Anytime you see a new item it stores it in the database, and if you simply click on someone (of your own side) it will scan them and store any new items. The database is completely searchable as well. The only real downside is when you open up the searchable database it pauses your game for a few seconds. The mod also includes a little dragable window that shows the current number of items you have seen, but it also is the portal to allow access to the database. It can also tie into FuBar.

King of the Jungle – Ace2 – Hunter Only - I found this immensely handy, what it does it detects when your pet needs food and puts a large feed icon on your screen and feeds your pet with a single click. It doesn’t take stat food, just the highest level food in your inventory currently. If you have different types of food that your pet will eat you get a selection (with tooltip) of what one to feed to your pet. Handy if you keep food for you and different food for your pet.

LunarSphere – If you have ever used Necrosis than on the surface you are familiar with this. It gives you a customizable Sphere that can show multiple things (HP, Mana, Energy, Rage to name a few), as well as smaller sphere’s around it that you can customize with everything from your bags, aspects, spells, mounts, pots and bandages, the MicroMenu Bar, the sky is almost the limit. It can also auto-repair, auto-restock (having some issues with ammo with it is the only thing), and auto-selling of grey’s in your bag (customizable). It is being updated with idea’s and the layout’s are a little limited yet, but that is changing. If you want, you can use this as your bar mod, but I have not tried any key-bindings with it yet.

Main Assist – Ace2 - A god send here. In a nutshell this will add MT and MA windows just like CT does, but you don’t have to be in a raid, this is for 5-mans. You have to set it yourself by entering in the name of the person who is the MT or MA. Like CT sadly it does not put a space in-between the MA and MT. It also hooks into CTRaidAssist and copies the MT windows set by CT so I recommend disabling it during Raids if the raid leader sets MT/MA windows. A bonus is if you are using marks it will show not just the MT’s target but what mark they have on them. Once you enter in a name it remembers it and then will assign it again automatically once you are in a party with them again.

MBB – Mini-Map Button Bag. Do you have a lot of icons all around your mini-map? Well this mod will take them all (except CT’s (which is semi-dragable) and Cartographers (not movable)) and put them in one spot for a drop down menu. Allows you to manually remove icons to put them back on the mini-map if you want. This totally uncluttered my mini-map. Right-clicking on the icon will allow customization of where and for how long it will show you the buttons, and you can drag the icon around your minimap. NOTE – If you are using Titan Bar and AtlasLoot there have been severe problems. Using FuBar instead of Titan resolves the problem.

Mik’s Scrolling Battle Text – A more option filled alternative to Scrolling Combat Text. Allows easier placement of where, and how, you want information given to you. /msbt for options. So many options are available for Triggers (Warriors for instance get a pop-up when Overpower is available, Hunters with Kill Command, and so on). Comes with BattleTextOptions.

MobHealth – Ace2 – A mod I am sure a lot of people are familiar with. This estimates a mobs health. It has an initial guess of the value, and it gets more accurate the more times you fight the mob. /mobhealth3 for chat window options.

MobInfo2 – An almost required mod while questing. This can show you a whole boat load of information in the tooltip about a mob when you mouseover it or hold down a button and mouseover it. /mi2 for customization options.

Monkey Mods – These include Quest (allows for tracking of quests, better than the default), Clock (a little clock, with alarm even), and Buddy (minimap icon, and allows a GUI to set options). A new addition is MonkeyQuestLog. When you click on a quest in MonkeyQuest you get a single window giving you the quest description, instead of having to open the full quest log.

MovableBag – A simple little mod that allows you to move your bags to where you want them. Type in /movablebags unlock and you can move all your bags, even the bank ones (though you have to have them open at the bank naturally), and when they are in the position you want them type in /movablebags lock.

Necrosis – Warlock Only – Sadly gone are the days of automation with this, but I still find it really handy for my warlock. Binds curses, summons, spells, mounts, and stones to different spheres, and they can be turned off. As a bonus you also get a timer display (duration of spells) that is very well laid out and works with multiple mobs.

NextStep – Ace2 – Want to get exalted with that turn-in but hate doing math in your head? When you get an item that can be turned in for rep and you mouseover it you get some new text that shows you how many you need till the next step.

Omen – Ace2 – KTM Killer. This mod destroy’s KTM in layout, memory and CPU usage, and looks quite pretty. Just get it and use it, it is that good.

OmniCC – Almost a must of an addon. Simply put this adds a visible numerical cooldown count on top of the icon for everything from spells, to potions, to your healthstone. /omnicc for options in the chat window. This latest version will also, when the countdown is complete, give you a visual, well it kind of looks like an explosion of your icon, to grab your attention that can be turned off if you want.

PoisonMenu – Ace2 – Rogue Only – This mod will give you a mini-map icon (MBB grabbed it by default, I just put it back on the mini-map) to allow one-click application of poisons to your weapons. Left-click does the main-hand and right-click does your off-hand. A real timesaver for me.

Rating Buster – Ace2 - Not quite a must, but a highly recommended. With the new changes to spell hits, crit, to hit, and all the combat ratings, this will show in the tooltip what the percentage actually is. This will also show the percentage on items that are now converted to the new format. Also as the combat ratings adjust as you level, this will automatically adjust to your level. /ratingbuster for chat options. There appears to be an issue with mana, intel, and hunters currently, but is being worked on.

Recap – Ace2 – This is kind of like Damage Meters, but different enough to be neat. You get a rather large window on launch that will show you all sorts of stats from the last combat you were in for you and your party/raid. Get it set-up and minimize and you can customize what to see when it is minimized. It syncs with others running it, and can be a fair showing of what is going on.

RecipeBook – Get or see a recipe that you don’t know if another one of your toons knows, this is the answer. When you load it up log in on each of your toons and open their crafting windows. This mod saves what they currently know and their crafting level. Then, whenever you have a tooltip for a recipe it will tell you if your toons know it, can learn it, or have it in the bank. It even colors recipes in the Auction House. Red - no one can learn it, Blank - it is banked, Green - an alt or friend can learn it, Blue – Another character can learn it in the future, Gold – Current character can learn it in the future, and normal – current character can learn it now. You can also send your data to other people. /rb help to get ya the options.

RS ClassColors – Ace2 – Well, it’s a simple little mod that colors a characters name in chat to their class. Matches up to the colors the Raid window uses (that I’ve noticed so far). If nothing else adds some color to the chat window.

SilverDragon – Ace2 - A fun little mod that will mark the location of rare spawns on the map. Now it marks them where it sees them, and the limit is you have to be in click range. But it has been fun for me seeing stuff, and then going back at a later time to kill it. If you use FuBar it imbeds into that or if you don’t it makes a mini-map icon.

Simple Mount Equip – Get on a mount and this will equip your mount speed items (Crop, Spurs, Carrot, Enchant), get off the mount and it switches back to what you had on. It is also smart and will not equip anything else if you have the Riding Crop, and remembers what you want to have equipped if you are in combat while still mounted and combat ends.

SorrenTimers – Ace2 – My replacement for Chronomoter. This shows HoT and DoT timers, as well as stings, SnD, many many things. It also (by default it is on) shows the UI cooldown timer. Very customizable and light weight.

Squeenix – Ace2 - Simply this is a square mini-map. As an addition it hides a few frames, allows you to zoom in and out with the mouse-wheel while your cursor is over the mini-map (very handy), move the mini-map, and even scale it up or down. It can make positioning mini-map icons a bit of a pain, but not to much (and using MBB helps a ton). /squeenix for chat window options, some of which are very nice (alpha, scale, and a few others).

Stubby – This allows addons that need it to be loaded on demand. Required for most addons.

Swatter – A mod from the makers of Auctioneer. If you get an error this pops a window up in the middle of your screen that shows you the full error message. Very handy for seeing what is wrong and reporting the errors to the makers of the mod (if you are so inclined).

Talented – Ace2 – A replacement for the default (lol) talent window. Shows you all the talent trees at once, and with the module’s also allows you to load up other classes talents. You can also make templates for leveling, or if you want to change, and when you have the talent points (like a respect) can auto apply them for you. Been quite a time-saver and a good knowledge resource for me.

TipBuddy – A tooltip placement mod. This has been picked up by the Mirage group now. The only issue I have encountered, which is being looked at, is you may have to mouse-over someone twice to get their Guild info. /tipbuddy brings up the GUI. The anchor can be moved and right-clicked on to further define the placement of the tooltip, and you can set whether some tooltips show up at the cursor or at the anchor.

TrinketMenu – A lot of you probably know this one already. Another must have. It gives you a little window, scalable in size, for Trinket control and fast swapping. By default it has a mini-map icon (in the MBB if you use it), but if you turn that off /trinket options brings up the options window. There is also a readme.txt in the folder. This can be a quite in-depth trinket swapper.

Violation – Ace2 – This is my new Damage Meters. I found it to be the most accurate of all the damage meters I tested (4 total). It is a light weight, pretty, and comprehensive meter. Includes modules for different aspects of reporting/recording.

WIM – Ace2 – WoW Instant Messanger. As it sounds, this will intercept whispers and give them to you in a neat little window or windows. By default it puts each whisper in a separate window, but you can easily change it to tabs in one window. A lot of options for placement, transparency, font, colors, even ignore events. This will intercept whispers so they do not show up in the chat windows, and by default suppresses whispers during combat and shows them to you afterwords. Now, this is going to be a love it or hate it mod, and there is a slight problem with it if you whisper someone that is using a mod like !enchant or !gem, as the spacing between the items in the list you get back gets screwy and clicking on them can sometimes be a problem. The other issue I have with it is shift-clicking items into it from Atlas Loot at times. These are known issues and are being worked on currently.

WitchHunt – Ace2 - This can be really helpful is some encounters (especially bosses). What this does it notifies you, in text on your screen, when a target is casting a spell. By default it will notify you when anyone around you is casting, though I think the default anyone around you is limited to NPC’s. That can be turned off and limited to target only. /witchhunt will show the options in the chat window. It can get a little spammy when you first have it on, but you adjust to picking up stuff fast, and anymore I don’t notice it when I am running around. One other thing I have noticed is you can see what spell (and its name) an NPC is casting and not to have them targeted.

XLoot – I have grown fond of this mod. It not only skins the loot window to a smoother look, but can also show all loot in one window, instead of the limit of 4 to one frame in default. It also has the added bonus of allowing you to, with one click, to link everything, at a certain threshold if you want, to chat. I believe /xloot will come up with options, otherwise kill something, click on the little “Quick Link” text at the bottom right corner to set your options. It also replaces QuickLoot by placing the loot window under your cursor (which the default will also do, but hey). Some people like that, some don’t, but it can be turned off.

XPerl – A VERY nice unit frame replacement. Light on resources, and very customizable for the different classes. For instance, see who has agro, needs dispels (like decursive), needs buffs, and a ton more. Movable, sizeable (though somewhat limited on size in my opinion), and the GrimReaper module is so handy. Has layout options for yourself, your pet (if you have one), the party, the raid, and buffs, targets, debuffs for each and every one. It also ties into and overrides CTRaid by using it’s own windows for the MT/MA’s. Very nice looking, customizable, and very light on resources.

Since when is Bongos Ace2?

It is not in my WAU... :(

Eh, it's not. But hey, which addon is the one that gathers spell damage/ability records and grabs screenies, like on Shiz's?

TopScoreFu

The screenie manager I use for viewing and editing is Infranviewer.

Beware though :) Don't use this in a raid or instance until you've gone out and farmed a bit. It stalls the screen while it takes the screenie, and having that happen 5-6 casts in a row is pretty un-nerving. Get the database full before major league action IMO.

One word of caution on those screenie captures. I have a mod (critline I think) that does this but when it captured the shot I got a temporary lag spike. Not a good thing in battle. Of course, Fu may not have the spike and of course it could just be my connection too.

You don't get a lag issue with TopScore, but you do get a momentary pause while your PC captures the screen, as you would if you were just using the "screenprint" key.

IMO that would be a good reason to use this thing in some hard solo fights to get some records established before going into an instance with it.

TopScoreFu lets you turn the screencapture feature on and off according to your preference.

That momentary pause is the lag. Anytime I lose a steady video stream I call it lag. It can be particularily troublesome when you get some new ability or record which you will set over and over for a bit. Example would be the first time I was raiding with Moo and she cast lifebloom. I got at least 5 record shots in quick succession as I "healed" myself and scored records. BTW, I did turn it off as well.... the records are nice but I never look at the screenies anyway.

At one point I know Bongos was an ace mod. Must of been the beta and it since went out of Ace.

Thanks for the catch PP.

I just read through parts of the forum for this and I am intrigued. If it really delivers on the feature lists it is going to replace a bunch of mods.
