Jewelcrafting stuff

I'm going to do some JC skilling again in the next day or two and wanted to see if anyone wanted any of the items I'll be making. I'll be doing mostly Heavy Adamantite Rings, but will also make a Thick Adamantite Necklace for anyone who wants one.

I could also use some help with mats from anyone who has some and wants to contribute. What I need is Adamantite Ore and Primal Earth. I need to prospect the ore to make dust that I can then turn (using the Primal Earth) into Mercurial Adamantite, so the Ore is much more useful than Adamantite Bars.

Beyond that, WTB/WTT for recipes! I still haven't found any of the recipes for cutting the blue quality gems, so any and all would be useful. The high skill (345+) ring/necklace/trinket recipes would also be useful, since I only have a couple of those.

Finally, if you need green quality gems for anything (I gave Myrc some for Alchemy, so I know other production skills use them) or cut jewels for items, let me know. My roster entry is correct for the recipes I have at the moment, and I have tons of the gems for anyone who needs them.

Let me know what color slots you need to fill and what type of stats you want (int, +dam, +hit, +crit?) and I'll get some in the mail to you. :)

Not too hard, only have one slotted item :)

Need one yellow and one blue. Prefer +spell or +crit, then +int. Stuff that makes a healthy warlock ;)

Update on mats needed for skilling:

Adamantite Ore (need 80 per) and Eternium Bars (need 4 per) to make Heavy Felsteel Rings.

Eternium Bars (need 2 per) and Primal Mana (need 8 per) to make Ring of Arcane Shieldings.

I'm at 360, and get access to several nice recipes at 365. As I manage to get recipes through drops or by factioning, I'll update this.

Pretty sure Cut Citrine is going away completely. The Golden Hare or whatever it's called had a line in the patch notes about not requiring cut citrine anymore.

Yep, the PTR patch notes said it would be replaced with a copper bar, iirc. Pretty major change!

My mistake, they do say "10 charges" on them. I still have no idea what happens when you use up the charges, though. It is a party buff, btw.

Yet another update. I farmed up enough mats to get to 365 in the last couple of days (woot!). Items of possible interest I can make are:

Swift Skyfire Diamond
Arcane Khorium Band
Blazing Eternium Band
Eye of the Night
Pendant of Frozen Flame
Ring of Arcane Shielding

I'll update this thread as necessary when I get new recipes. For the Skyfire (and eventually Earthstorm) Diamonds, an Alchemist needs to make the diamond before I can cut it. I can provide all the green gems necessary for that transmute (they're coming out of my ears!) but you're on your own with regard to primals (except possibly Primal Earth). At the moment, I don't have the mats to make any of these since I burned my stock skilling up, but I'll tell you what they are for anything you want (most require some intermediate combines).

What slot does the enigmatic skyfire diamond fit in? Is it meta? I am looking for some good agility stuff for blue slots but if that is not available then +12 crit and res to "obstacles" would fit a hunter as well.

BTW, I have a blue named gem (noble topaz maybe?) I don't recall the name right now. Not sure what it makes or if you can skill up at 365 off of it. Ask me in game if you think about it and I don't remember to ask. :)

Skyfire and Earthstorm Diamonds go in Meta-gem slots, as you suspected. To work, you need to meet the particular activation requirements of the jewel, which are that you have a certain number of specific colored gems slotted in your gear.

I can't cut any of the blue gems yet, since I've had awful luck getting recipes and they cost too much to buy on the AH at the moment. Once I get my epic flying mount, I might be more willing to drop 300g per recipe.

If I'm not much mistaken, the guy who sells the design for the powerful earthstorm diamond is in Karazhan. Yes, you still need Consortium faction, but why make it too easy? :)

Oops, I was just looking at the faction, and assumed it was on the Consortium Quartermaster.

I'd buy a pattern for Myrkris even if Morckt or Exploit already have it.

Myrkris updates his Roster profile and is very communicative - I don't hear a peep from those other Jewelcrafters. ;)

There were some really hax (for the level) healing figurines that equipped as a trinket at lower level jewelcrafting. The Solid Stone figuringe healed for about 250 life I believe. Are there any higher level items of the same sort? Additional / supplemental healing could really rock in a couple of situations I could think of.

I assume you're talking about things like the Dense Stone Statue. That one is the best of the bunch, heals 50hp/sec for 24 sec (supposedly) so 1200hp, and is BoP so only the JC can use (and only the JC is healed). Cooldown is 2 min, and doesn't share the cooldown for anything else I'm likely to use in an instance, so I think I need to start carrying some.

All the jewelcrafting trinkets are BoP. Some are pretty haxy, that's why I'm pushing to get to 370 right now. I should get that by Thursday.
