Level 70 has brought on a lot of new things to the game, but a question my sleep anaemic brain has thought up is what class compliments itself best when you have two of them? These are assuming good gear.

For PvE, my vote goes for shaman, with a close runner up of paladins. Why?

Talent synergy for shaman: No other classes in the game fill up the weak spots in each others builds quite like shaman do. Two trees with very powerful deep talents, and one tree with very good early talents make a two man crushing machine for pretty much any sort of PvE outside of instances.

First shaman - Enhance/resto http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=GZxVbdVMsVuqox0et
Pros:

DPS, DPS, DPS. With moderate gear, is easily the highest consistent DPS
Practically mana free DPS, and enough power to kill without any mana use.
Stormstrike leaves a debuff on the mob instead of boosting the shaman's nature damage.Cons:

Frail. With limited mana pools and lacking the armor boost from a shield, enhancement shaman really can't take much of a beating.
Lack of controllable burst. There is either a giant 2hander with windfury on it for a chance at big burst, or double weapons with lots of little windfury, neither of which lend themselves to big, powerful "Oh man I've got 350 mana and 300 hp, but the mob's only got 1500 left, gotta blow it up now" solutions.
Constantly look like hunters due to AP mail.Second shaman - Resto/elemental http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=hE0uZxZxf0tVeotcd (note: This is not a completely standard build, I did a little tweaking for a bit better solo activity)

Pros:

Earth shield means you can just sit and smack things without much worry about getting hurt.
Cheaper, stronger healing than any of your fellow shaman.
As long as you are careful about repops, you aren't going to die, ever.
You can cast damage spells and not worry much about mana consumption.Cons:

While you aren't going to die, nothing else is going to die very fast either.
Poor weapon selection (staves and 1h maces, 1h axes, daggers and fists.)
Poor weapon itemization (very few caster friendly weapons do more than 41dps, and spellpower/healing gear has almost no attack power)
Staves look stupid with our class gear. When you put the two specs together, you get rid of almost all the cons while actually gaining some pros.

Two shaman group
Pros:

High DPS with little mana consumption
Stormstrike used by a caster shaman boosts damage done by large amounts.
Durability increased tenfold for enhancement shaman due to earthshield, granting the same, if not more mitigation as sword and board without losing any dps output
High DPS means less healing needed, meaning more mana for offensive spells from the resto shaman.
Double totems mean SoE and Earthbind for some control over runners.
Leaving a full double set of totems and a pile of bodies behind always looks awesome.Cons:

Still need mana.
High dps, multischool casters still chew through both players (Those bloodelves in shadowmoon come to mind)
No magic and curse removal abilities, the most common annoying long term debuffs in outlands.
So, what's your thoughts on it? What class makes the best team with itself?

2 bm hunters.

pros - heavy dps, no mana, range, pets take damage.
cons - 2 shaman rolling on your gear. ;)

Don't feel bad, I used to steal druid and rogue gear, too.

Elemental stands well on it's own. Decent killing ability and enough mana to heal yourself more than once without needing to drink. You have a shield on for damage reduction as well. Elementals don't have the weakened early tree to push past, especially with the new clearcasting. They still pair well with enhancement, and are a welcome third into the mix.
