Can anyone in HAWC make a Hide of the Wild? I have all the materials -- just looking for a LW that can actually make one.

Very nice craftable purple for healers. Pattern comes from Knot's cache in DM.

I don't know how many times I passed WC out in EP while he was killing those stupid worms. Yex is right that he worked his behind off to gather the materials necessary for this. As someone who is healed by Yexia weekly, I want to say thanks to WC as well.

If any of the other healers want one of these cloaks (and we have someone who can make them), please let me know. I have no problem farming mats for a couple hours each night if it means upgrades for our healers.

We might want to make some brd runs... milnor the priest would be excited to hit BRD. Also, I think that NG has some quests hidden in the easy half of BRD that we haven't done.

ideally we raid BRD and can score around 20 DIO in 1-2 hours. also, I understand that DIO was added the 2 zones adjacent to Blackrock mtn. kind of dull to run around looking for it, but the side effect is that you can also score thorium ore and arcane crystals which you can sell to buy more Dark Iron ore.

Another strategy would be to farm Gold and transmute that to Dark Iron Ore via the AH. :) I bought stacks of 10 DIO recently for around 8-10 gold per stack. BRD runs for DIO are big time sinks unless you can stealth in and score ores that way. A 60 rogue with improved sneaking and Mining skill can probably pull ore out of BRD like mad.

I think us enchanters might be going about this the wrong way. We all want to get the 22int formula in our books, but the way we're going about it right now is going to take all of us forever. We should pool all the DIO into one chanter for the fomula. I know as soon as a chanter posts "I can do the 22int chant...send tells if you need" that chanter will be spending an entire day + just doing that chant for all of HAWC. Once we get one chanter with it, we can all pool DIO into another chanter in case the chanter that does have it is off line or something. All the enchanters going at it seperately is going to take us till 2008 for one of us to get that formula. Just my thoughts anyway. :)

*edit* Just an after thought...Duerdon can sneak into the bar in cat form for turn ins instead of having to get a 5-man going to get to the bar. ;)

All of the DIO that I have pulled in the last few weeks has gone to Grunge in an attempt to get him faction for smithing. We need a smith in our guild that can do that sort of stuff. I was then going to start pulling the DIO for my priest for her +22 enchant, but it can wait if someone is that far ahead of me.

But anyway, back to the actual topic of this thread. Warcaster rules! And what is needed for these cloaks so I can start putting together a pool of materials?

So your druid is a chanter as well? I'm just not really seeing how you plan on getting Cynic in there with a stealthing druid. :p and if your druid is also a chanter...that means he has to start from square one with TB faction again. Am going to make a discussion thread in the Tradeskills forum about DIO collection/distribution so we don't hijack WC's cloak thread anymore. :)

Who did you find to make it for you War? I have more then a passing interest in this cape, and I'm sure a few other people might as well, so point a finger so we know who to send a tell to when we gather mats. :)

Shebus made it for me. After handing her the mats she says "SUCKER!!!!" and hearthed out. Of course, we were standing in front of the bank and she was stoned in Org so.... was kinda funny. She didn't charge me anything to make it but I did tip her.

I'm can farm the Essence of water until the cows come home. It took about an hour to gather 5 the last time I did it. Rugged leather I should have banked somewhere on one of my many alts. The larval acid are a pain. The only time I have seen them drop was when I was out gathering with WC, but again, the worms aren't hard to kill. Anyway, I'm going to start gathering mats for one of these cloaks and banking them. I know of at least one priest in my guild who would love to have one.

Lol i thought it was funny hearthign back to Org and disbanding the group with your mats. I can also make the corehound boots, and I think some leather belt that requires MC mats. Also I aquired a finkles skinner so 315 skinning FTW!!!

Also I put the Hides of the wild on the AH all the timen for 425g, they cost me around 300g to make usually, if anyone wants one for 315g and skip the mat farming just let me know. it is no problem ;)
