Maelc and I have this pattern though neither of us can actually make it yet.

Riding Crop

Word on the street is it will not stack with Carrot, Spurs or Glove enchant and it is unique-on-equip so you can't have two. :( I suppose we do care that it will not stack with the Pally group speed buff.

Upside is that the percentage is greater than the former three combined(10% vs 9%(?))

It's good to have goals and 350 LW this weekend is mine.

It's more that the pally aura won't stack with anything, but it's okay. With this you get 10% without a paladin, 20% with a paladin.

I was really disappointed that this wasn't an upgrade to the Hunter Aspect of the Group Run Faster(Pack). Seems to be much more in line with a Hunter than a Paladin.

I just tested out my flying mount and elite ground mount with the Mithril Spurs and the Carrot on a Stick and got some interesting results with Titan Speed.


Reported speed with Spurs and Carrot equipped is 171%
Flying Mount = 60%
Carrot on Flying mount = 5% speed increase
Spurs on Flying mount = 6% speed increase

Reported speed with Spurs and Carrot equipped is 214%
Elite Mount = 100%
Carrot on Elite ground mount = 6% speed increase
Spurs on Elite ground mount = 8% speed increase



So it seems that the increase is slightly higher with the flying mount. I will try to get my hands on a Riding Crop to see if it does stack.

Looks right to me.

Non-epic mount means you move at 160% normal speed.
Carrot on a stick makes you move 3% faster, ie 1.03*160%.
Spurs makes you move 4% faster, ie 1.04*160%.
Both makes you move 7% faster, ie 1.07*160%.

Rinse repeat for epic mount, ie 200% normal speed.

Is it just me, or didn't the riding crop have a 'on use'?

After a lot of hunting I can now make Riding Crops. They are for lvl 69 and up and have some expensive mats if you go to the AH but they will make your flying mount go VROOOOOOM!

BTW, I can also make War Drums but they are not quite as exciting. Heh heh

Despoiler can make Riding Crops as well so look either of us up when you need yours. Despicable can also do the Primal Might transmute so I am a one-stop shop.
