CT_MailMod - rumors of banning

I've been catching rumors that Blizzard has or is banning CT_MailMod because of its mass mailing functionality.

People (like gold farmers) are using it to spam adverts to many people at once.

I'm actively looking for more info and will update this thread as I get it.

I guess I never found that functionality. All I used it for was sending huge loads of items to one person.

Hehe, many messages to one person, or one message to many persons - they both could be considered mass mailing as far as I'm concerned.

Unless there is a feature I don't know of, CT Mail allows you to mass mail items, not letters. And to one person only, not multiple recipients.

Unless some hacking, or there is something in CT that isn't advertised, it isn't CT's fault for this it looks like.

Yeah, the version I have doesn't let you put in any text in the body of the mail. You put in recipient and subject and items.
