View Full Version : great mod

i highly recommend this mod for everyone that raids.
its pretty nice how it works, it will even notify you audibly if you like when the MA changes targets.
The raid leader can auto-assign targets to people for CC or for killings. this helps speed up some aspects of raiding.

This looks really nice, will it work post 2.0? I know there are a lot of scripting changes that aren't allowing smart target switching, so this might be effected.

Since it's written by one of HLS' resident nerds we have ways of making him make it work. :)

Shamu from Requiem wrote it. Good question about it working post patch. I'd think it will with some tweaking.

Shamu wrote Raid Target Management. That's the mod that Sol uses to hand out targets during a raid.
I wrote Raid Manager. It's what we use for bidding, raid data collection, and feeds the system that we use to manage points.

Is this easier then CTRA's built in target management system?

I think we need to be prepared to raid without CTRA shortly - I have found no indication of CT_RaidAssist for WoW v2.0 anywhere.

I found This (http://www.ctmod.net/news.ct) On the Ct website.. Second article down. In short, They are going to recode ALL of their mods for the x-pac so they all work.

Yah I read that - however they have not released anything for anyone to test - Beta or PTR. :(

As far as i know the PTR's are usualy MOD free. I belive its so they dont mix up bugs in game with bugs cuz of mods.

You can run them there - that's where Addon developers do all their testing and is how they can get them updated quickly when a patch goes live!
It is just that if you run into some bug, you should remove all addons & see if it goes away first before reporting it.
