summoning kirtonos the herald

Question for you warriors or people who may have failed at this quest... Can you get the blood and summon this guy over and over again? I'm wondering because he drops the valor boots.

Say i summon him, kill him, and then don't get my boots... can i get the blood again to summon him? I'm 1 step away from being able to get the blood... gotta drop jandice first.

i do want to finish my valor set and i still need 3 pieces, boots, hat, shirt. if i can farm kirtonos, then the boots seem like they will be the easiest of the final 3 items to get.

valor set is like a gaudy trophy that i must possess. i don't know why.

Hey Sol, I am on the Jandice Part also.. If you want to be safe, we can go together and only use 1 blood at a time. (Plus this will get me closer to superior mana potions)

I recently saw a posting on this. Apparently once you've done the Butcher quest, every time you kill him he drops the blood.

Oh, and I have some of the blood as well.

Yep you do get the blood when you kill her again. I went there the other day and got an extra blood.

I've done Scholomance and Stratholme a great number of times. (So totally upset the ruined these dungeons, you can walk through them in a couple of hours now :confused: )

If you guys need help just let me know. I almost always have a blood on me if you want to go kill the Gargoyle. It is super easy now that they added the new mob in the first room. Also for those that are doing the major mana potion quest series, it now drops off that little dork Gandling. I can also turn Ras Frostwhisper into his human form, at least I still have the book for it. I will probably be hitting Silithus hard the next week or so, since there are some new quests there, but I will gladly do Scholo or Strath 5 mans any time anyone wants. I have all quest lines completed in both dungeons, so I am pretty knowledgeable in them both.

We summoned kirtonos the herald about 6 times last week and got valor to drop once... of course bloodeagle beat my roll 93 vs. 7.... the good news is that we've got a nice Large Brilliant shard collection going-- Kirtonos drops 2 junk blues each trip. (although stoneform shoulders are pretty nifty MT gear).

Been in Scholo a lot lately, done the shaman epic helm quest 2x as well, jandice 3-4 times recently, and Gandling 1 time... I gotta say that Gandling fight is a challenge in 5 man. Ras won't give me an iceblade hacker, what is his problem? I recently woke up and figured out that since i'm axe specced i could probably use a nice 42 dps axe w/ shield.

Gandling is much easier when Ralcah figures out she can kill the trap mobs with Habuji. Nothing like having the priest banished first. Then all of us slowly dying while she complains about being stuck behind the trap mobs. Then we all run back and she screams at us to come help her for 10 minutes while she solo's Gandling and the three mobs in the room with her. We finally got through to her that the gates were closed and we can not come in until she dies......:o After that we did it pretty simply. I actually thing Gandling is harder in 5 man than Baron Rivendale is though. Rivendale is a pushover.

lol, gandling banished both me and our mage on saturday. never seen him banish 2 players before.

WC realized the guards in there were a pushover though and we got out and whipped the "darkmaster".

i'd kill gandling more but its a 3 hour tour to get to him 5 man. *hums gilligan's island*

He was going down I tell ya! He was at 27% or so when he started chasing me thru the dungeon. By the time they finally convinced me to let myself die (and yes, I coulda lived thru it) he was at 19%. Granted, it took me 5 - 10 minutes to get him that far down, but dammit, I'm a priest; holy/disc specced at that! My dps is lower than that of an orc pawn. Impatient mage - you just wanted the glory for yourself ;)
