I am more than willing to make Arcanite Bars for HAWC members for free.... Just send me that mats and I will send you the bar back when I can make it. Keep in mind that it has a 2 day cool down and there may be a line..so it may take a few days (Id recomend checking with me before sending the mats if you need it in a hurry). I also need 8 arcane crystals for myself at this current time, but since Im not a miner I cannot obtain them by myself....so If anyone gets a surplus, and can wait for my poor ass to save the monies... I would love to buy them off of ya. Man I need some good lewts to sell already!

I have a level 60 defensive tank who is an Armorsmith and miner. I mined probably 30+ crystals and converted them with Romulus for Reapers and Armor. Took me nearly 2 months for my reaper, now I hardly use the damn thing. I am in the process of converting Undeath to Air for our leatherworkers, but I can sneak an Arcanite in if anyone needs.

Where do you mine arcanite crystals at? I have only found 3 since i have been a miner and they were in Winterspring and 2 were in the same mine in two hits. I gave them to my lock buddy for his quest as I didnt need them but now I could sure go for a few for a reaper or champion.

The best places I've found for getting Arcane Crystals are Azshara and East Plaguelands. Azshara has a number of rich thorium spawns in the NE corner, and EPL has a number in the various plagued-out, noxious, fungal sections.

Both of these places are fairly high traffic and rife with farmers, but if you're willing to bully the farmers you should be able to get a fair number of nodes per hour (be sure to kill Glostinaq if you visit Azshara, he/she/it flags all the time and is awful at pvp).

Crystals are still rare enough that even spending hours farming won't yield them up all that often - I've kept track, and I've gotten 26 in my entire mining career, most of which were sold to pay for an epic mount.

Queprur is also an alchemist who can do that transmute as well. If you want me to transmute, just send me the mats, or look me up online and I can hook you up.

[Romulus]

Crystals are wierd, can go days without getting one, and then get 7 in a few hours. I usually mine in Searing Gorge for the Dark Iron also.
