HAWC Sets New Onyxia Record

With only 24 people signed up HAWC dared to attempt a raid on Onyxia. The evening looked like a bust when Blackhand went off-line during raid setup. The server came back but started dropping people. Once everyone got back on-line we raced for the instance hoping the instance servers were more stable. Luck was with us and once inside we had no lag issues. We managed to pickup 26 raiders and decided to make a valiant charge into the windmill.

With about 6-7 deaths and couple of combat rezzes Onyxia was soon offering purple loot to our intrepid raiders.

Congratulations to HAWC for downing Onyxia with only 26! Well done!

Just for fun, it was decided to kill a bunch of ZG bosses too. Bat lady, Venoxis, Bloodlord, Mar'li and Thekal are dead :)

Grats to all for downing Onyxia, sorry I could not make it. I forgot all about it and was in bed by 7:00pm after a very long and hectic day of training on new technologies and troubleshooting network issues.

It was very fun, I'm glad Az logged me on and then said 'Well now you HAVE to go!'. :loco: (He knows that I can never say no to 'Warcaster invites you to a group! Zomg.')

It was well worth becoming a pumpkin, but it sure was hard to roll to bed as a large orange vegetable.

Thanks everyone for staying and making the raid wicked fun! I love it when we can desimate most of a zone with ease. :popcorn:
