Raiding is always the hardest part of any MMORPG, getting everyone there at the same time, getting buffs done and then pulling the mobs and killing them without to many deaths, or heaven forbid a wipe, and the raid on Sept 12th rocked for all of that. Even though we did not get as far as we want to we are gaining ground and learning each time. I am concerned with everyones anxiouness to kill things though and attacking before the assist is called. Warriors that are in Defensive stance still have to hit a few times to build aggro and that takes some time to do, usually about 15-20 seconds. As a Protection tank I know that we can kill lots of things without stopping but it takes FOREVER to do all the damage that has to be done. When folks get anxious about killing something and jump in and start to hit it in melee, or worse cast spells on the mob it draws aggro away from the MT, he cannot hold aggro and the mob comes to hit you. If you are a squishy cloth wearer that does not take long to kill we dont have your damage any more and have to res you and have to run around trying to get aggro back so no others die as well. That took lots of time away on Sundays raid. Especially on the core hounds down the ramp. If people start casting and shooting right away the MT CANNOT HOLD AGGRO and can only taunt the mob off you within 5 feet. As soon as the MA calls "Kill it" go kill all you want but before then just be patient as we will win faster in the long run with less deaths and less running around.
