View Full Version : Scheduling Group/Raid Nights for lvl 50+

It seems that the only scheduled group or raids are those for level 60.
I know that I will eventually get to level 60 and hopefully get the chance to do the MC raid, etc., however I'm wanting to see if it's possible to schedule a group/raid night for those of us who aren't quite there yet.
I know for me, it's best to do it on the weekends, but can manage something if it's scheduled during the week. I'm not sure who to ask about this or even how to get it scheduled on the calender.
Any help with this will be greatly appreiciated. Thanks! :)

Your best bet is to put an event on the HE private calendar. you will find this calendar if you click on Calendar (above) and then use the drop down in the lower righthand corner to select Horde Elite.
I guess that brings up the question of where we are at on the ingame calendar, too, as we thought we had it up but it bugged out on us.
But back to matter at hand... if you have quests that you can be working on and need some help, this will serve you best. We can always run some mains with ya too, to wax it faster.

You'll also see the General Calendar in that drop down.
Anyone here is welcome to put stuff on the General Calendar.
Each Guild has its own Private Calendar that only members of that guild can see and create on.
The HAWC Raiding Calendar is visible to everyone, however only HAWC Officers may create on it.

I know GaboonViper was trying to get some 50+ action going a while back, and had trouble due to the relatively small number of people playing characters in that range. Feel free to ask your guild officers to post things on the HAWC raiding calendar to get 50ish members from the other guilds and it might help you get the numbers you require.
In addition you can request HE guild HAWC officers to have these posted on the main raid calendar.

Very true...I ended up befriending a raid whore...someone who had a strong, and burning desire to LFG UBRS in gen chat...since he had a lot of toys he wanted, we ran all the time. HE does not have any raid whores...we have whores, mind you (Cho...here's lookin' at you!)...but no one who'll spam. What I've found...is sending tells to ONE person..making the personal connection..."Hey Ruuk...I need to run a 5 man live for my adamantium breastplate..are you busy? Is your wife home? What's she weari...OOPS...I mean...does she want to Moonkin it up? Do you think Zeg is free?" (I use that as an example..but seriously Ruuk...we need to get me my BP... ;P )
I don't often respond to guild "Anyone wanna run an instance?" It makes me think you're (not you in particular) bored, and have no direction...no particular goal...and that I'll be in there for 5 hours. Find people who know people...find the people people. Give them stuff...BoE epics...lingerie pics...time-share condos...KIDDING.
That's what I did to get past my lvl 50 doldrums..now my hunter is getting close to those again, so I'll be taking my own advice soon.]
Just my 2c
And it's Gaboonvyper...Mirkris... ;P

Feel free to send private tells to any hawc members too if you're short a particular class or whatnot. Worst case scenario they say srry can't come this time, and at best we get some more inter-guild pwning ftw :)
