The Superbowl will sap our strength enough that no MC trip will occur on Sunday the 5th. That means we'll have a fresh MC to conquer on the Wednesday run (http://www.hordelandsecurity.org/forums/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=216&day=2006-2-8&c=2).
Last Sunday we went after Geddon and had a lot of confusion and missed opportunities to win. After 4 or 5 tries (I sadly lost count), the mobs started re-popping around us and we retired early. You can count on a strong clear tactical message, including what to do, how to do it and this is how we will win. The key learnings were to make sure that Living bombs get away, that the ignite mana is dispelled, and that we find a way to DPS but still maintain tank Aggro. Many more experienced folks have told me that this is the first MC boss fight that people really have to be paying attention to 2 things at once. I think all the boss fights have elements of this... but this fight is one of the few where all 40 people have an opportunity to blow the raid up if they don't flee when they are the living bomb.
