The only enchants I'm used to getting are the +stat ones. So when it comes to uber weapon enchants, I'm a little lost.

I want to get a weapon enchant for my Shaman, and right now I'm leaning towards Lifesteal, Superior Striking or Unholy Weapon.

Any thoughts on any of these... or perhaps another which is your favorite?

I like the crusader enchant quite a bit. the proc rate is decent on it, it has nice benefits in the impact on your attack power from 100 str is high. Plus it heals you.

Fiery is a good cheaper alternative.

I haven't priced out the ones you mentioned. what do they cost and what are the benefits?

Do you use the weapon as your main means of injuring opponets in PVP? If yes, get a weapon chain and forego enchants. I disarmed a guy with what appeared to be Sulfuras the other day... it was very amusing.

If the weapon is mainly for PVE or is not your main PVP attack (never can tell with a shaman), I'd recommend crusader or +damage.

Oooh you gave me an idea Cho -- I've got The Shatterer in the bank - it procs a disarm on opponent...

I should add a weapon chain to that and go test it out in WSG! :)

i always throw on my plate deathgrips which are immune to disarm when I pvp.

i have been trying to disarm fellow warriors lately and everyone of them seems to have the same gloves too. :) Because they are enchanted up on their weapon.

Rogues are pretty easy to disarm if they don't dodge the attack. hunters are pretty easily disarmed too, but i usually shrug off any melee they try to hit me with anyway. Warriors and Pallies seem tough though to disarm, most are pretty smart about their gear selection... and those deathgrips are pretty easy to get out of DM.

Did the guy wielding the orangey hammer happen to be a dorf pally? If so, I have seen him before too. good to know that he doesn't have immunity to disarm.

I guess I've been playing a Priest for too long..... what exactly is a weapon chain?

Oh, and this would primarily be for PvE.

.... you can disarm people who have no weapon chain!

Weapon chains make it impossible to disarm a weapon. I've been looking for the pattern since I was in my mid-40s, and have had to settle for stockpiling the chains that show up on the AH.

Yep Sol, a Dwarf pally named Koff. You could almost see the guy's dismay... "Here I go to wreck the Horde! Ooh, ahh, my leet MC hammer! Uh, what just happened?"
